2026 LINEUP

Welcome to Live at the Gardens – Melbourne’s most magical music series under the stars, where world-class music meets the most beautiful outdoor stage at the iconic Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.

After a spectacular debut in 2024 and two triumphant seasons in 2025, the acclaimed open-air concert series has firmly established itself as one of the city’s most exciting live music experiences. And the excitement continues, with the fourth season set to return in March 2026.

A collaboration between Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and MG Live, Live at the Gardens transforms the Observatory Precinct into a dynamic inner-city venue, delivering outstanding live performances in an unforgettable setting.

Across its first three seasons, Live at the Gardens has welcomed an exceptional lineup of international artists, including Franz Ferdinand, Groove Armada, Róisín Murphy, Lake Street Dive, as well as beloved Australian acts including The Living End, The Presets, Boy & Bear, Chet Faker, The Cruel Sea, Matt Corby, Xavier Rudd, Miami Horror, Sneaky Sound System, Bag Raiders, Mark Seymour, Vika & Linda, Sarah Blasko, Augie March and more.

With its unique blend of music, great food and stunning outdoor setting, Live at the Gardens has become a must-play stage for artists and a must-attend experience for Melbourne audiences – a vibrant, immersive celebration of live music under the stars in the heart of the city.

Any event that can be enjoyed under the stars is a welcome addition to the summer calendar. Hopefully, after a triumphant season, it returns!
