Get ready for a hometown dancefloor takeover when Melbourne’s own CUT COPY bring their euphoric blend of synth-pop and indie electronica to the Gardens on Friday 13 March.

The Grammy-nominated, ARIA Award-winning group have, for more than two decades, shaped the sound of Australian electronic music, with era-defining hits including Hearts On Fire, Lights & Music and Take Me Over. CUT COPY recently returned with their seventh studio album Moments, an album made to bring people together, pulsing with warmth and optimism.

Expect a mesmerising live set of celebrated anthems to fresh new sounds, perfect for dancing under the stars.

CUT COPY are an Australian synth-pop powerhouse from Melbourne, formed in 2001 by DJ and designer Dan Whitford. Starting as a bedroom project, they evolved into a globally acclaimed band blending indie, dance, and electronic vibes. Their breakthrough album In Ghost Colours (2008) became a modern classic, earning ARIA Awards and a GRAMMY® nomination for follow-up Zonoscope (2011). Known for hits like Lights & Music and Hearts on Fire, CUT COPY have headlined festivals worldwide, from Coachella to Primavera, and continue to shape the sound of indie-electronica with their lush, euphoric grooves


Todd Terje (DJ Set)
TODD TERJE is a Norwegian DJ, producer, and songwriter hailed as the “King of Summer Jams” and a key figure in the Scandinavian disco revival. Known for his playful, genre-blending sound spanning house, disco, and synth-pop, Terje broke through with cult anthem Inspector Norse and his acclaimed debut album It’s Album Time (2014). A regular at global festivals like Coachella and Sónar, he’s collaborated with Bryan Ferry, Franz Ferdinand, and Lindstrøm, cementing his reputation as one of electronic music’s most inventive and influential artists.


CC:DISCO!
CC:DISCO! is an Australian DJ, radio host, and curator celebrated for her infectious blend of disco, house, and boogie. From rural Victoria to global stages, she champions the mantra “less chin-stroking, more dancing” with sets that radiate warmth, romance, and pure energy. A former PBS FM radio staple, CC now calls Lisbon home, touring festivals like Glastonbury, Love International, and Kala, while curating her acclaimed First Light compilations spotlighting diverse talent worldwide. Her debut EP on Phantasy Sound and vibrant party series Club Coco cement her as a leading voice in modern dance culture.


Crazy P (DJ Set)
CRAZY P are UK disco-house innovators from Nottingham, formed in the mid-90s by Chris Todd and James Baron. Known for their lush blend of funk, soul, and deep house, they’ve built a reputation for euphoric live shows and timeless grooves. With standout albums like A Nice Hot Bath With…, Stop Space Return, and Age of the Ego, plus dancefloor classics like Heartbreaker and Like a Fool, CRAZY P have shaped modern disco for nearly three decades. Their latest LP Any Signs of Love (2024) continues their legacy of feel-good, forward-thinking dance music.


Colette
COLETTE is a Melbourne-based DJ with deep roots in funk, soul, and global dance culture. Drawing on her Cape Town heritage and years in Australia’s vibrant music scene, she crafts eclectic sets that glide through disco, house, jazz, and R&B. Known for her infectious energy and genre-spanning taste, COLETTE has lit up stages from local institutions to Boiler Room x Sugar Mountain, while curating mixes that celebrate diversity and pure groove.
