Hoodoo Gurus
Hoodoo Gurus are one of Australia’s most iconic rock exports - a Sydney-born band that fused garage rock grit with pop smarts, sharp songwriting and an unrepentant love of classic rock 'n' roll. Breaking through in the ’80s with albums like Stoneage Romeos and Mars Needs Guitars!, they delivered a run of smart, catchy hits including What’s My Scene?, I Want You Back and Like Wow - Wipeout!.
Hooky, witty and relentlessly energetic, Hoodoo Gurus helped define Aussie alternative rock - earning ARIA Hall of Fame status and a legacy that still kicks decades on.

Ratcat
Ratcat are one of Australia’s definitive indie-rock crossover acts, emerging from Sydney’s underground scene in the mid-’80s with a punchy mix of pop hooks and punk energy. Fronted by Simon Day, they exploded into the mainstream in 1991, scoring a rare trifecta of ARIA No.1s with the Tingles EP, Blind Love album and the hit single Don’t Go Now.
Blending gritty guitar rock with irresistible melodies, Ratcat helped bridge the gap between indie credibility and chart success - earning cult status and a lasting place in Aussie music history.

The Stems
The Stems are one of Australia’s most influential garage rock bands, roaring out of Perth in the mid-'80s with a sound that captured the raw spirit of the sixties garage punk, fuzzed-out guitars and timeless power pop. Fronted by Dom Mariani, they built a cult following on the strength of infectious, melody-driven singles and a reputation for electrifying live shows.
Though their original run was short-lived, their influence looms large - bridging classic garage rock with the Aussie indie explosion that followed, and cementing their status as enduring cult favourites.
